Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance — Louisiana

 

 

 The following is a list of Schedule I controlled and dangerous substances as defined in the Louisiana Criminal Code.

 

By definition Schedule I substances are those that have the following findings:

 

  • The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.

 

  • The drug or other substance has no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.

 

  • There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision.

Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any of the following opiates, including their isomers, esters, ethers, salts, or salts of isomers, esters, and ethers, whenever the existence of such isomers, esters, ethers, or salts is possible within the specific chemical designation:

*(3) Alphacetylmethadol

*(4) Alphameprodine

*(5) Alphamethadol

*(6) Benzethidine

*(7) Betacetylmethadol

*(2) Acetyldihydrocodeine

*(3) Benzylmorphine

*(4) Codeine methylbromide

*(5) Codeine-N-Oxide

*(6) Cyprenorphine

*(7) Desomorphine

*(8) Dihydromorphine

*(9) Drotebanol

*(10) Etorphine, except hydrochloride salt

*(11) Heroin

*(12) Hydromorphinol

*(13) Methyldesorphine

*(14) Methylhydromorphine

*(15) Morphine methylbromide

*(16) Morphine methylsulfonate

*(17) Morphine-N-Oxide

*(18) Myrophine

*(19) Nicocodeine

*(20) Nicomorphine

HALLUCINOGENIC SUBSTANCES

Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any material, compound, mixture, or preparation, which contains any quantity of the following hallucinogenic substances, or which contains any of their salts, isomers, or salts of isomers, whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, or salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical designation, for purposes of this Paragraph only, the term “isomer” includes the optical, position, and geometric isomers:

(1) 3, 4-methylenedioxy amphetamine.

(2) 5-methoxy-3, 4-methylenedioxy amphetamine.

(3) 3, 4, 5-trimethoxy amphetamine.

(4) Bufotenine.

(5) Diethyltryptamine.

(6) Dimethyltryptamine.

(7) 4-methyl-2, 5-dimethoxyamphetamine.

(8) Ibogaine.

(9) Lysergic acid diethylamide.

(10) Mescaline.

(11) Peyote.

(12) N-ethyl-3-piperidyl benzilate.

(13) N-methyl-3-piperidyl benzilate.

(14) Psilocybin.

(15) Psilocyn.

(16) 2, 5-dimethoxyamphetamine.

(17) 4-bromo-2, 5-dimethoxyamphetamine.

(18) 4-methoxyamphetamine.

(19) 1-[1-(2-THIENYL) CYCLOHEXYL] PIPERIDINE.

(20) Cyclohexamine.

(21) 1-Piperidinocyclohexanecarbonitrile.

(22) Marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinols, or chemical derivatives of tetrahydrocannabinols.

(23) 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA).

(24) N-ethyl 3,4-methylenedioxyamphetamine.

(25) N-Hydroxy Methylenedioxyamphetamine.

 

DEPRESSANTS

Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances having a depressant effect on the central nervous system, including its salts, isomers, and salts of isomers whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, and salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical designation:

(1) Mecloqualone

(2) Phencyclidine

(3) Methaqualone

 

STIMULANTS

Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule, any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of the following substances having a stimulant effect on the central nervous system including its salts, isomers, and salts of isomers whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, and salts of isomers is possible within the specific chemical designation:

(1) N-ethylamphetamine

(2) Fenethylline
