Mandeville Police Department Announces DWI Checkpoints Thursday

The Mandeville Police Department will conduct driver sobriety checkpoints in the city limits Thursday, June 14, 2012, between 6 p.m. and midnight. Law enforcement jurisdictions publicize the time of the checkpoints, but do not provide the locations.

The checkpoints are aimed at deterring impaired motorists and reducing alcohol-related crashes, Mandeville police say.
