The New Orleans Police Department announced that it will be conducting sobriety checkpoints around the Algiers area between 9pm and 5am this FRIDAY JUNE, 15. Police state that the checkpoints are aimed at impaired motorists and reducing alcohol-related crashes. Although a time frame is identified, locations are not specified.
